Lovett Homes is a Boise-based residential design-build and character preservation practice focused on mid-century houses, substantial renovations and additions.
The work begins with what gives a house its identity, then considers how its rooms could better support the people who live there. Self-directed projects and select client commissions bring that thinking into construction.

Balsam.2025
The original window wall became the center of a stronger connection between life inside the house and life around the pool. Opening the kitchen, dining and living spaces to that view made it possible to prepare food, talk and host indoors while staying part of the activity outside.
The completed home was sold to its current owners, who later commissioned a mudroom addition.

A self-directed renovation in progress. The kitchen, dining and rear living spaces are being organized around active gathering. The front hearth room takes a quieter role, offering a place for conversation or reading together with some separation from the busier parts of the house.

Plans test the question identified during the consultation. The study explains a recommended direction and the alternatives considered. Scope, fee and delivery are agreed before work begins.
