The next chapter in the Lovett Homes approach.

The home’s strongest existing qualities are its mid-century form, brick exterior, elevated setting, and relationship to the surrounding landscape. The planned approach is to preserve the character that gives the home its identity while resolving the areas where the exterior, entry sequence, interior planning, and daily function no longer work as clearly as they could. Where possible, original materials will be preserved, repurposed, or reintroduced so the finished home feels connected to what was already there.

The project will focus on strengthening the home’s architectural presence, improving the arrival experience, and establishing a clearer spatial hierarchy throughout the house. Rather than emphasizing openness alone, the design will define each space according to its role, creating a more deliberate progression between public and private areas while reinforcing the distinct character and purpose of each room.
